Hey! My name is Brittany Kayla. I am currently an undergrad journalism student. I’ve always had a passion for writing, so I assumed being a journalist would be the best option for me. However, the more classes I took, the more I realized I don’t want to talk about the cookie cutter topics that today’s society wants me to talk about. In class, we either write about politics or last night’s house fire. In magazines you’ll see, “Top Five Kylie Jenner Selfies” or “How to Lose Weight in 10 Days.” I suddenly realized that I want more out of life.

If I am going to write for a living, I am going to make a difference in people’s lives. I get a sense of personal satisfaction knowing that I have impacted someone else for the better. My hope is to inspire and help as I strive to reach your soul rather than the mind.
